| Customer Reviews: bad material...do not fit at all... March 6, 2010 R. Bales (CLEARLAKE OAKS, CA, US) i guess i was wrong..this item has no business on an xj jeep. do not fit at all,
poor material!! i live on ssi and do not have the money now to send them back...
jeep seat covers February 9, 2010 Shelli Price (GREAT BEND, KS, US) These set covers look good they fit our jeep really nice. I would recommend if your not gonna
be really tough on them. Their pretty thin but great product for the price.
They look good but.... January 31, 2010 Rebecca S. Upleger (Taylor, Mi) While these seat covers look good the quality is not what I would expect for a Jeep. Within a couple of days after I installed them on my seats the plastic that holds the cover between the back and bottom of the seat ripped. Now the cover is moving freely on the bottom. It stays on the seat but it moves and does not fit snug anymore. They do look nice from the top though.
difficult installation and inferior gromets January 11, 2010 jeepster (rocky Mountains USA) I purchased these for my 97 Jeep Wrangler. The gromets on the underside flap provided for securing a tight fit pulled out and fell out during installation prep, and then the plastic flap where the gromets were suppose to be tore away from the seat and made installation a pain. I finally put several layers of duct tape on both sides of the flap and punched a hole through so they would not tear further and to accomodate the elastic retaining straps. These elastic loop straps were then to be used to connect the front of the seat cover to ther rear to ensure a snug fit, but they were too short, were flimsey, and began to tear also. So I finally connected the front of the seat cover to the rear with bungee cords and at least, for the time being, they are staying in place. Redesign of the retaining flap, the gromet installation and the length/strength of the elastic connecting loops needs to occur.
Seller needs a better description September 14, 2009 Jenny Mayhew (Florida) 11 out of 12 found this review helpful
I purchased this pair of seat covers with the expectations that they would fit. However, when I went to install them on my Jeep they were too small. I requested through e-mail to return them because I was not satisfied and found out only then that they do not fit Jeep Wranglers 2003 and up (I have a 2004 Jeep Wrangler). The seats in those models are too tall and too wide for these covers to fit correctly. The seller needs to address this in the "Product Features" because you will be wasting your time and money if you purchase them. It cost me $20 to return them and they charge a 20% restocking fee. Therefore you (and I)will have wasted $28 on nothing. I am still waiting on a refund of some sort and will update this review when I receive more information from the seller.
(For the Seller: I must warn others before they buy this product so that they do not throw away their money as well. In this economy, every dollar counts. Please update your "Product Features".)
Update: I have received my refund and they did not charge me the re-stocking fee. Unfortunately I have to live with the $20 return shipment fee but that is OK because I have learned a valuable lesson here...always double check the product description/features by sending an e-mail to the seller in order to avoid any confusion on the product.
